Energy Systems Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will have extensive experience in the field of energy optimization and renewable energy and will work with the Energy Systems Unit of our Process & Control Systems Department. This Unit provides engineering expertise in energy management and the field of energy efficiency and optimization for both process and utilities systems in Saudi Aramco Oil & Gas plants.
The candidate will have an extensive knowledge of solar energy power generation and energy efficiency systems. Ideally the candidate should have a broad experience in the different applications of energy systems optimization covering both utilities and process systems in Oil & Gas industry. He should be able to develop optimization models for both new design and operating facilities. He should have an in depth knowledge to analyze and reconcile data, using models for optimization studies. A background in power generation and Cogeneration, including knowledge of the economics and financial aspects of the industry, is preferred.
Minimum Requirement:
BS degree (Advanced Degree preferred) in Electrical / Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering with 10 years experience in the field of solar systems design, operation and development as well as energy systems optimization.
